Tapering of budecort inhaler
My 7 year old was given budecort inhaler for 8 weeks ' 2 puffs twice a day. Last one week tapering to 1 morning puff 2 at night. How does tapering work.
Can I follow 1-2 for a week then 1-1 for a week and then 0-1 for a week and finally once every 3 days. Don't want to abruptly stop due to side effects . How long tapering needs to be done.
He was started in this due to severe cough in evening and night time. He is occasionally coughing but better now.
