Hello Doctor,
I have inguinal hernia from last 1 year, and I know that I have to undergo surgery, currently my inguinal hernia is into canal and very painful.
It is not the correct time as covid is spread badly to get admitted and do the operation.
Please suggest some medications for the pain and and any further suggestions will be very helpful.
I live in chennai and would get it operated ASAP.

If the hernia is in canal and not reducible than u need to get it checked because it is also paining.
My first advise would be to go to hospital and get it checked that there is no obstruction or anything
For pain you can take paracetamol just as temporary measure
Painful hernia is indication for surgery
