Inflamed right tonsil with white spots
Hello, my right tonsil is inflamed with some white spots visible at the back and redness in the throat and it feels like something is stuck in my throat on the right side. however i do not have either fever or throat pain at all i touch the swollen tonsil with a swab. I had unprotected oral sex with a partner for the first time 5 days back i just wanted to know if this could be a symptom of an std. i do have a history of getting inflamed tonsils with tonsil stones too. please guide me on if i should get a std test done and what tests need to be done or should i wait for some days to see if it clears out on its own. its been 2 days since i have had this issue. thanks and regards.

Mostly it is not an STD.. It seems to be your regular sore throat infection.. But you have to go for CBP.. CRP.. Tests atleast otherwise it may leads to abscess which will give you more trouble
