Hi Doctor,
I keep getting the attached infection at the back of my head on the scalp. I apply soframycin and it goes away in 3-4 days but it comes back again after sometime, 1-2 months. Kindly advise what could be the reason and what precautions I nees to take.
Thanks

Greetings. Soreness of scalp could be the result of Seborrhoea / folliculitis/ sebopsoriasis/ rosacea of scalp etc. Your pictures are indicative of scalp folliculitis. One of the easiest way of dealing with these is use of an antifungal shampoo under prescription. This folliculitis could also be due to bacterial infection. See a qualified dermatologist in your city.
