Infection in thumb

Asked for Male, 30 Years

I have an infection in my thumb below the nail. It looks like it's slowly going onwards or spreading in other words. There is some swelling with minimum pain and the skin become scaly when I allow it to grow. I generally end up scraping the skin part off.
