Coronavirus can infect even newborn babies. They get infected through parents generally. However it has been seen that disease is mild in children compared to adults. They generally have non fatal illness.

Yes it can infect any age group
But it is seen with our ongoing experience and data available that in most of the cases infection is of mild variety in children.
