Infant Breathing more than 70 times /min
Hi Doctor, I noticed my 7 days old kid is brathing really faster. I checked multiple times with a time looking at his stomach in exhale and stomach  out inhale also observered Breathing sound while he was asleep. He takes nearly 75 breaths in one minute. I checked online and it says its a cause of concern. If its a concern please let me know why is it so many times. History: my wife had a C Section after crossing 38 weeks. EDD was 16 may but doctor had operated on 9th may Please advise.

If what you are explaining is intermittent and not continuous, if baby is feeding well, babies colour is nice healthy pink then it could be normal, as babies do breath that way. But if it’s continuous throughout the day, not feeding well then take urgent opinion.
