Increase in Indirect Bilirubin
I was admitted in the hospital for Hep A and Jaundice. Upon my release my Indirect bilirubin was 0.3 and direct bilirubin was 8.4 Today, I did another LFT and my direct bilirubin is 2.1 which has decreased but my Indirect Bilirubin has gone up from 0.3 to 1.3. Is this something serious? I am a bit worried as the Indirect bilirubin was always within the range. Can you please help? TIA

It is very natural. You should get a repeat complete LFT done after a week and consult a General Physician.
