Incision scar
Hello, I met with an accident this Feb and got stitches on my lips. Should i wait for atleast 6 months to see how much it will heal or is this the beat time to ho for laser treatment. Also I see it's a hypertrophied scar. Do hypertrophic scars go away on it's own or do we have to treat them via injection , laser at the earliest. For reference I have attached picture below

Hypertrophic scar needs injection to reduce the hardness. And again, laser can be done. The earliest is the best. Scar tissue takes 6 month to one year to mature.
Next Steps
Get treated at the earliest.
