Immense swelling on the left foot ankle

Hell doctor , I have an immense swelling on the upper portion of my left foot ankle wherein the pain is unbearable , it appeared all of a sudden , I had the same swelling on my right ankle 10 days ago I am a 34 years old male , I have recently contracted diabetes and my bad cholesterol level was high, I am also on medication for thyroid problem
