ILD, coughing, weakness
Patient is 75yrs,M, recently diagnosed with ILD, MEDICATION IS ONGOING FROM ONE MONTH BUT NO MAJOR IMPROVEMENT, CONTINUOSLY COUGHING AND IS TOO WEAK TO BE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL. I have recent test reports of his treatment.

Need to know pt oxygen saturation (sp02), (to evaluate necessity of supplementary oxygen )and any other comorbid conditions,
Next Steps
Visit nearest hospital if saturation is less then (88% @room air

Hi. I understand your concern. ILD will not improve in a month. Cough will be there. It's part of disease process. If he develops fever or excessive breathlessness then visit a pulmonologist for the same.

What kind of ILD has been diagnosed? please upload the papers with CT Chest reports. It will be easier to discuss further on video consult as ILD is a broad diagnosis and lot of discussion needs to happen over it
