Idiopathic urticaria
I have been getting skin hives and boils since 3 weeks which goes away instantly on applying fucibet ointment. There was no itching.
After the first week I had levocetrizine 5 mg for 7 days as per the advice of a dermatologist and those days I did not get any skin issues.
I stopped the tablet and for the next 4 days it was ok. But on 5 th day I started getting a new symptom of overall itching on my body and also skin hives like before.
So now again I am on levocetrizine 2.5 mg since 3 days and now no issues.
So will the itching come back again when I stop the medicine? How long can I take levocetrizine? Is there any solution without taking tablet?
I have done blood tests recently and everything is normal.
The other medicines I am taking is
Dilzem CD 120 for bp and tachycardia (heart rate now under control)
Telma 40 for bp
OXCQ 200 for lupus ( since 16 years)
Hoping to get some suggestions on managing urticaria and itching.
