Idiopathic seizure and pregnancy

Asked for Female, 32 Years

My husband aged 34, experienced an unxpected seizure 3 weeks back.The doctor prescribed medication (eptoin 100mg day 2 doses) for 3 months since it was diagnosed as an idiopathic seizure. Since we plan to have a baby, how long we need to wait for a safe and natural conception ?

Husband seizure and medication does not make so much difference.Now also you can try but on the advice of doctor.

Husband's seizures have got nothing to do with trying to conceive. You cn start trying right away without any issues. Start taking tab folvite 5mg once daily after food abd try from day 9 to day 19 that s during the fertile period.
