Ideal BP for 70 yr cirrhosis female

Asked for Female, 70 Years

What should be ideal bp for 70 yr female? Mother, 70, has early cirrhosis, asymptomatic, and is on carvedilol (beta blocker) 3.125 mg twice since 2 months. Earlier was on TelmirideH on which BP was controlled. Now, after carvedilol, BP systolic remains around 135 n diastolic around 75 in morning and lesser in evening. Is this okay? Does carvedilol dose need adjustment or change of medicine suggested? (Beta blocker started due to cirrhosis.) What should be ideal bp range for 70 yr female?

No need of any adjustment. It's absolutely fine. Carvedilol is given to avoid complications of cirrhosis rather than antihypertensive per se. BP <140/90 can be considered normal for her age.
