I want to go for laser treatment
I have power of -1 in both eyes short sightedness even i got lot of head ache and eye dryness when using computer and tv. So will i be eligible for laser treatment. Please suggest me

Hello
We will perform few tests like pentacam to see corneal thickness and topography and retinal evaluation and if all these tests are normal then lasik can be done without fear
We will also do schirmer test to assess wettability of eye... If eyes are adequately moist then lasik can be done

I will never advise for LASIK for -1 d , there is lots of advantage of being Myopic up to -2d in later life , you will need no reading glasses in your life after 40 yrs , dryness is most common side effects one has to face throughout life after lasik .

yes you will have to use lubricant eye drops 2to3 times daily for a very long time.
