I don't know how the past year passed, i was depressed ama confused about gender identity and sexuality. I wish I could change sooner but something stopping me. I am doubtfull and confused all the time. All day long, one thing that goes on my mind at any given point of time is that I want to change. I know it's irreversible. But i don't want to continue being male. I wish I could start hormones early. I wish I got guidance. Please advise. Thank you

Hi. Gender dysphoria is quite common these days and quite distressing too. Only the sufferer knows their own plight. Unfortunately in our country it's still not an easily accepted condition and teh procedure for sex change is quite legally bound. I would advise visiting a psychiatrist where you plan on getting yourself operated.

See there is a legal procedure to follow before going to complete sex change surgery first you will need a psychiatric evaluation stating that yes you have gender identity disorder and after that you can be given permission to start hormone replacement therapy and after that you need to spent certain amount of time as a female and on hormones when you can get a clean chit to get you sex changed it is a long process and can’t happen overnight
