I want to go fir filling procedure ..
Myself sampat bhati. My down middle side tooth small portion broken when i was eating hard food 2-3 days ago , also i m having no pain..i want your suggestion that should i go for filling or rct. My demand is to do only filling and not RCT.also suggest me how long durable filling is? .thank u

See, by viewing at attached photographs, your lesion on tooth appears to big, so better to go for root canal then capping. Because filling alone won't be able to withstand masticatory forces in your case.

See the lesion in your pic is quite high.so ideally core build up will be done but in case it is not stable then crown is to be placed and that will require RCT.for further details you can consult me

Unfortunately you can't have such demands based on the depth of your lesion. RCT is a possibility. Please visit a dentist, final treatment can be decided based on your x-ray only.
