I need some instant solution
My son is 7 weeks old and has been suffering from a cold for the past 4 days. We are giving him saline drops and crocin as recommended by the doctor. But right now he gets very irritated and is unable to sleep due congestion. He sleeps for sometime during breastfeed but it gets irritated.

Hi, put nasal drops 1 drop in each nostril 5mins before every feed, clear nasal secretion with nasal aspirator
Do not lay the baby directly under fan/ AC air current
And if still baby is irritable consult pediatrician if less feeding/ vomiting/ dull/ excessive cry

Try putting nasal drops just before feeding. That way he will have better feeding and sleep better.
The irritation can be Because of inadequate feeding as the nose is blocked.
