I need a doctor's opinion on this .
Hello , doctors . I have a simple question many people face issues to get regular follow up check ups like long waiting hours,  travel costs, Fooding & lodging expenses . So , can doctors  take follow up digitally ? And do you believe patients have to face difficulties in getting regular follow ups? Will you use any software which will help you to get follow ups online and will generate digital prescriptions and send reminders to the patients  to WhatsApp and patients can upload their medical files and photos . It will increase your patients retention also and will increase the income . So please tell me if anyone will provide this type of software will you use it ?

Yes, digital follow-up consultations can be very helpful for both patients and healthcare professionals, especially for reviewing progress, discussing reports, and providing follow-up guidance whenever clinically appropriate. They can reduce travel time, waiting time, and improve continuity of care. Features such as appointment reminders, secure sharing of medical records, digital prescriptions, and teleconsultations can enhance patient convenience and improve follow-up compliance. However, whether online follow-up is suitable depends on the patient’s clinical condition, and some situations still require an in-person consultation. Dr Namita Ranjan Counselling Psychologist
