Redness on the palate and tongue with a burning or increased sensitivity to spicy food over a few days can have several causes - irritation from hot/spicy food, a mild fungal infection (oral thrush), a vitamin deficiency, dehydration, or a viral cause. I cannot give a firm diagnosis from a single photo, so an in-person examination is the safest way to identify the cause.
Next Steps
Please see an ENT or dental/oral medicine specialist in person for an examination of the mouth and tongue. If the redness or burning does not settle within about a week, or if white patches, ulcers, or worsening pain develop, get it reviewed sooner. A basic blood check for vitamin B12, iron and folate may be advised if symptoms persist.
Health Tips
In the meantime, avoid spicy, hot and acidic foods, tobacco and alcohol, stay well hydrated, and maintain gentle oral hygiene with lukewarm salt-water rinses. Please do not self-medicate with antibiotics or steroid gels without a proper diagnosis.
