Hi sir....   The treatment of cavities will depends on how deep the cavity is involved....   If it is superficial and doesnt involved your nerve layer, SIMPLE FILLING  is enough.. If the nerve layer is involved, then it is necessary to do Root canal treatment.... Tooth coloured material are used for filling  like Glass ionomer cement and composite material.   if the cavity is little deep(close  to nerve layer but doesnot involved it,)then GLASS IONOMER cement (Fluoride releasing cement)is better option If the cavity is not much deep then COMPOSITE filling material is good option..which is nothing but the LASER FILLING material...and the cost of filling material varies according to clinic... After root canal treatment capping should be done to preserve the root canal treated tooth.... In clinics, currently two types of capping materials are used 1.Metal ceramics crowns 2.zirconia crowns METAL CERAMIC CROWN: It consists of metal substructure for strength and overlying ceramic(tooth coloured material) for aesthetics... ADVANTAGE :   **strength and durability due to metal component **Aesthetically good **Reasonable price **Better fit DISADVANTAGE: **Dark lines on the tooth due to metal substructure **More tooth trimming is necessary **Aesthetic is comprimised if the overlying ceramic material (Tooth coloured material)chip off due to heavy occlusal force... ZIRCONIA CROWN: It is a METAL FREE crown...made up of diamond crystal  material.. ADVANTAGE: **  Since it is made up of diamond crystal material, it is extraordinary stronger than metal cermic crowns **Aesthetically more pleasing than metal ceramic as it is metal free **Nom allergic because of metal free ** Less tooth trimmimg is sufficient It is little costlier than metal ceramic crown The cost of each crowns varies according to clinic... The option of crown choosing is according to your affordability and economic status....

Hi... Composite resin is a good option for filling. It's tooth coloured and bonded to tooth. For capping you can go for ceramic or zirconia crown. Prices depend on quality, brand, experience of Dr etc.

It depends on how deep the cavity is and the surface of the tooth involved. You have option of silver fillings or ceramic fillings or glass ionomer fillings. Caps can be full metal, PFM crown or zirconia ( metal free crowns) cost of cap varies from 2000 to 16000 depending on the material and the Clinic
