Hello there. I can understand your concern. Unless you have H. Pylori problem, the treatment is basically what you are taking. Infact even in H.pylori, part of treatment is to take antacids. Along with these measures, you need to make diet changes like have 5 smaller meals rather than 3 huge ones, avoid oily and spicy foods. Avoid tea/coffee/Carbonated drinks/smoking and alcohol consumption. Consult a general surgeon and get a endoscopy done. He will be able to help you further. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
