I had a tooth extra today at 4 : 20 pm
I have removed the cotton gauze now 4 hr after surgery.Do I have to replace it with a new cotton gauze,I think it is bleeding.

Hi no need to place cotton.Dont rinse r spit for 24hrs from extraction time.Take ice cream.It will be fine.Dont touch extraction site with tongue.Leave it.

You have already kept cotton for 4 hours, so no need of placing cotton (If bleeding is stopped). But if still blood is coming out, than place a new cotton and bite for 1 hour more. (Do not spit, rinse or have anything hot for 24 hours. ) If still bleeding continues,please visit your dentist for physical evaluation.
