The cyst in the roof of third ventricle is a benign non malignant cyst. It causes problem due to blockage of the passage of fluid (CSF) in the brain. This can lead to headache or even sudden unconsciousness. Thus you should get it operated. This can be opearated by endoscopy and a small hole is sufficient to remive it. The surgery us usually safe and should be done.
