I feel detached and unconcerned
I feel very low, I'm having a 4 yr old kid,I hardly feeling like playing with him. I couldn't perform or focus at my work from home job. I feel like sleeping all throughout the day. Sometimes I feel like leaving everything and running away. I hardly comb my hair / look myself into the mirror. Watching my kid's infant period photos makes me feel bad, I didn't have a pleasant birthing experience / post recovering phase as well. I am also having pcod issue. Not sure what makes me feel like this, does it need any treatment. Tried yoga, changed my diet, tried speaking with friends/ family.I don't feel like old me. I feel like I kind of lost.

Hello I'm so sorry to hear about your problem! Motherhood is a difficult and overwhelming experience particularly when you don't receive the required social support. From the little history you've mentioned, it seems you have developed major depressive illness and it is essential to receive treatment. Untreated depression has very bad consequences for the person suffering as well as your children. Kindly take a consultation with a psychiatrist so that you're evaluated fully and treatment can be initiated.
Next Steps
consult the psychiatrist

Not enjoying things you earlier liked(anhedonia), excessive fatigue, poor self care, sadness that last most of the day are all symptoms of depression.
Next Steps
you should consult a psychiatrist.
Health Tips
there are good screening tools for depression such as beck depression inventory, patient health questionnaire, etc which you can use to screen yourself for depression and make psychiatrist's job a little easier.

I can sense that the last few years have been overwhelming for you. It seems that you experienced certain postpartum concerns and couldn't receive the needed support. It is natural for you to feel vulnerable and distressed amongst the situations you have shared. I want to let you know that it can be helpful to connect with a counselor. The professional will be able to provide you a safe space to share these feelings, and help you explore your symptoms. In addition to providing you emotional support, they will also be able to guide you in terms of seeking appropriate treatment. It's okay to feel lost sometimes and seek support in such moments. I hope this helps.
