It may be due to oesophageal reflex of gastric juices.  It causes burning pain in chest and regurgitation of water in mouth.  Stress is the major factor causing digestive disturbances.  Have food at regular timings. Have less spicy food.  Avoid caffiene, alcohol and tobacco if you are habitised. Try to overcome stress.  Your pressure as a phd scholar will only last few years.  Take it in a positive way.  You must search for ways improving yourself.  Dont get demoralized. Take arsenicum album 200, 3 times in one day 6 pills at a time. Consult nearby homoeopathic doctor for treatment.  Better medicine can be given by enquiring details of symptoms, and past history.
