Hi, Widal is a non specific test and it's significant only after 7 days of fever. There is also possibility of coexisting illness. Emperically in malaria endemic areas on basis of clinical finding anti malarials can be given. So Don't worry. Doctor must have examined and felt the need of anti malarials. Hope you get better soon. Best wishes.
