Provided you can maintain reducing bad breath with oral hygiene instructions given by your dentist once you consult them in person.
First and foremost you must do ultrasonic cleaning (professional ) done by your dentist if required only after examination and if suggested by your dentist.

Halitosis or bad breath can be due to multiple reason. One if u have unhealthy gums or decayed teeth or if u have any GI infection etc... visit a near by dentist to physically rule out the problem.
First line of treatment for badbreath is scaling(cleaning) & polishing.. And brushing twice a day.. Mouthwash after every meal.. If it still persist we have to see other health problems like gastric, liver, etc
