I am suffering from acidity problem
I have been advised Rabeprazole 20 once daily. I feel better after taking that medicine.
I want to know that can this medicine be taken for longer duration?
Any side effects which it can cause?
I have been told that these antacids cause kidney damage .

Hello
You can take the medicines for 4 to 6 weeks and then taper off. The side effects seen with PPI is seen
