I also have dark patches on my face.
I m prediabetic. I m taking glycomet sr after all three meals also taking obelit 60 after lunch and dinner. I m not hving olily stools or some thing else wth my stomach. I m having dark patches around my cheeks,forehead, uper lips, jawline and ear lobes. My nech is also so black. Is there any oinment which i can use to reduce the blackness. I m also having thyriod.

You should take Metformin and Orlistat before meals if you can tolerate. The dark patches are most likely to be Acanthosis Nigricans which is because of insulin resistance
