Hypothyroidism in pregnacy.
Its my 1st trimester & tsh level is 4.15.. I am taking eltroxin 25 mcg ..is it sufficient.. No other relevant medical history..

The cutoff for first trimester is 2.5 TSH so you have to increase the dose contact directly for prescription

For pregnancy we take 3.5 as upper limit so definitely this is high. U urgently need to consult a gynaecologist for the pregnancy and hypothyroidism .

Thyroxine requirements increase by around 40-50%during pregnancy and hence dose needs to be increased from prepregnancy levels. The target TSH should be less than 2.5 in first trimester.... So you will need a small increment in your dose...
