Hypothyroid
I am 29 year old. I am diagnosed with hypothyroidism. T3 and T4 level are .48 and .01 respectively whereas tsh level is 276.13. Can my thyroid problem be cured only with oral medicines or any other treatment is required? Do I need to go for some other test apart from blood test? Waiting for suggestions Thanks and regards

You have to first give a month or two of thyroxine tablet. after that time, repeat the test to know the levels. In case managed, well and good. If not

then will have to look for thyroid antibodies, MPO antibodies and others to look for any autoimmune component.
