Hypoglycaemia
My grandmother's diabetes dropped to 37 ,we use dr morepen glucometer for accessing her sugar everyday, after getting the results, we immediately gave her glucose,Thankfully she was conscious, she is a bedridden patient from past 2 years having health issues like dementia, breast cancer, copd, thyriod, blood pressure and diabetes. My query is what should be done in the scenario when the person is not conscious and she can't be fed sugar,I request our intellectual doctors to share a piece of advice? Was this life threatening, a little delay could have made us lost her forever? Please give a deep insight, I would be more than grateful

Sugar should be given typically in liquid form or gels available to put under the tongue. Yes hypoglycaemia can kill. ‘Deep insight’ would require a consult as unsure about if using insulin or other medications causing low sugar. Or has appetite reduced. All the above require expert management
