Hypoglycaemia

My doctor says I have hypoglycaemia. Isn’t that the opposite of diabetes like so many terms are there now what to do what to believe and what not to? Medical terms really scare me though

Hello, if told hypoglycaemia, there should be laboratory record of low blood glucose level of <70 mg/dl, associated with symptoms of hypoglycaemia. The cause for hypoglycaemia needs to be evaluated, if low blood glucose values recorded, as there could be several causes leading to hypoglycaemia. Pls consult an Endocrinologist for further evaluation & management. Thank you.
