Hypertension
Avg bp:155/90.Are there ny documented cases of essential hypertension being cured . hypertension is due to overactive sympathetic nervous system (body always goes into fight or flight mode even when there is no need)with no evidence of any tumor of pitutary or adrenal. All blood reports and ecg beign normal. Can it be resolved permanently by restoring normal activity of sns.

Hi, it is unfortunately not that simple. Hypertension is a multifactorial disease, meaning there are a lot of agents that come into play to determine whether a person is prone to develop hypertension, like your family members having it, genetic predisposition, smoking etc. However, certain lifestyle modifications can help you keep it under control. Have a well balanced diet and avoid salty food. Exercise regularly, at least 30 minutes, 3-4 times a week. And try to keep stress under control. These may sound like very usual things but they go a long way in maintaining your overall health.
