Hypertension and statin medicine
I have hypertension. I take medicine and blood is normal now 114/75 . My question is that what would be the possible range of LDL and triglyceride when actually statin medicine is required at my age , as I take blood pressure medicine? Thank you so much.

At your age you need only exercises to burn your calories. Bit if you are unable to any exercises than ldl or tg values of 200 above is your target to start statins and fibrates

Hello,
It depends upon many factors like age gender bp value, sugar levels smokint etc. Generelly you need statins if LDL is more than 190 and you are a non diabetic
