I've struggled with hyperpigmentation around my mouth since I was very young. I've seen several dermatologists over the years, but unfortunately, none have been able to offer a truly effective solution. One dermatologist even mentioned, somewhat indirectly, that this type of pigmentation is often permanent.
To rule out any underlying causes, I got tested for PCOD, but the results came back normal. I also had my hormone profile checked, and everything was within the normal range. At this point, I'm not sure whether I should keep searching for a cure or simply come to terms with it.

Some cases respond only to a combination of creams, sun protection, and oral supplements. Please book a consult for a personalized plan.
