It is a disorder of collagen formation,it can be present in isolation, which will be not a problem mostly except for a slightly higher chance of dislocation of any joint. OR It can be present as a part of a syndrome, for which a physical examination needs to be done.In that case, depending on the syndrome you might need to take more precautions. But these syndrome are very rare,so mostly it must be an isolated feature,so don't get worried and better to get examined by a good orthopedician or physician.
