Hyper triglycerides during pregnancy
Hi , Iam 21 weeks pregnant with pre existing diabetes since 3 yrs and also has pancreatitis.. undergone plasmapherasis twice with the servere attack..since iam pregnant now iam not on any medication now for triglycerides ..my triglycerides are not under control and am worried I might get the attack again. Don't we have any medication for triglycerides which are safe during pregnancy ..do we have any kind of alternative treatment to reduce them .

Controlling diabetes well is the key to keep triglycerides under control. Omega 3 fatty acids / fish oil tablets are safe in pregnancy to keep triglycerides under control.
