My father is suffering from HOCM from past 13 years. Since then he had been taking Norpace 100mg for relieving the pain. But now, the doctor has said that the condition is worsening and it needs to be diagnosed by surgery. I'm attaching a copy of medical reports. Please suggest what to do.

It is a disease which is present since his birth. It has a definite risk of sudden cardiac death. And it runs in families, you should also get yourself tested by 2d echo.
Surgery is the best option here, but it is a major surgery which has its own risk.. so discuss the pros and cons with your doctor and take the right dcsn.
