Hydrosalpinx
Looks like I have hydrosalpinx on the left side and currently don't have any kids but desperately want kids. I have pcod/pcos from more than 10 years. Does anyone know the reason why I got it in the first place?

Hydrosalpinx usually comes from a past pelvic infection, pelvic inflammatory disease, or scarring from endometriosis or earlier surgery, rather than from your PCOS directly. The fluid building up in the tube can leak into your uterus and lower your chances of pregnancy, including with IVF.
Next Steps
A pelvic ultrasound and an HSG can confirm which side is affected and how blocked your tube is. Many doctors recommend removing or clipping the affected tube before fertility treatment, since it usually improves IVF success rates.
Health Tips
Please see a gynaecologist or fertility specialist for a full workup, since your PCOS will also need managing alongside this before you plan a pregnancy.
