Hungry but not able to eat &bitter taste
Hi, My mom already having ILD and taking tablets (doxlin 400, somraz d40, motair fx). But for past few weeks she cannot able to eat well feeling hungry but not able to eat full, oxygen level is 98 recently doc changes a tablet pulmoclear and she took that for 1 1/2 month but after facing this issues doc told to stop this tablet, we stopped pulmoclear table since 4 days but same symptoms resist nofever no other symptoms, only having bitter taste some time and not able to eat full but hungry. Please suggest

(Pulmoclear)N acetyl cysteine does have rotten egg smell when taken orally so could be because of that, meanwhile GERD also has to be ruled out.

Look these altered taste could be because of side effects of doxyphylline or fexofenadine or montelukast or pulmoclear. If she has difficulty in swallowing then endoscopy is needed.
