Huge hair loss

My wife has long hair. She used to have very thick hair. These days it started becoming so thin and heavy hair fall is doubling her worry. Moreover her hair is becoming reddish! Please suggest any remedy to regain her hair thickness and to control loss of hair fall. Thanks in advance!!
