HRCT scan chest
I have got 3 HRCT chest scans so far. These were done 2 years apart. Also these were medically indicated because I had severe chest pain and HRCT found sternalis muscle but I really want to know if these scans can cause breast cancer in future ?

The amount of radiation from CT alone is not responsible for breast cancer . When there is already another reason, it may be a added reason

One person has to take 10-20 CTs continuously and consecutive to get any effect. Less likely with a single ct per year
