Hair fall can be of recent onset or ongoing from a longer time. The causes of these two conditions are diverse. If you are having hair fall of recent onset the most common reasons could be because of recent change in residence, shift in lifestyle like the beginning of a new diet or from a recent illness you recovered from.Hair colors and straightening procedures also leave the hair shaft brittle and prone to breakage.Smoking is also one of the causes of hair loss. If you have been having hair loss of more than 6 months, it may progress to male pattern hair loss and it may be worth you while to meet your dermatologist.
Do pay attention to your diet and include plenty of fruits and vegetables. Proteins make up the hair so do add proteins from various sources to your diet. Use a mild shampoo for regular use. Hair massages and spas are unlikely to help hair loss. If hair loss persistent after more than 3 months see your dermatologist
