Hi doctor , my eye pressure is 22 , how to reduce it naturally??
iam a graphic designer sitting more hours infornt of the computer will increase the eye pressure???

Iop tends to vary with time of the day,Blood pressure etc,.
When using computer do follow these instructions
1.Frequent blinking of eyes
2.For every 20 minutes look far away for 20 sec
3.Drink more water
4.Do not sit in front of air conditioner
5.Take Adequate break in between
6.computer screen should be 16-30inches away
7.ensure the screen is neither too bright nor dim
8.get good sleep
9.use lubricating eye drops 6 times per day
10.ensure there is no glare from your screen.

Eye pressure is a complex thing n it is advisable that an Ophthal takes that call n monitoring...
Sometime u may hv little borderline IOP, but rest of the things normal with no family history..so u will need only monitoring.
As far as I know, there r no known methods for decreasing pressure naturally.., however deep breathing techniques are good for overall parasympathetic control of body's function.
