I'm truly sorry to hear that you're carrying the weight of a traumatic childhood past experience. Its completely understandable that such experiences can affect various aspects of your life, including your ability to focus on studies and your sense of identity. Consider talking to a counselling psychologist/ therapist with whom you can openly talk about your past and resolve inner conflicts. Remember, healing from a traumatic past takes time, patience, and the right support. You are not alone on this journey, and it's okay to ask for help.

Living with OCD can be difficult and 8 years is a long time too. It would be advisable to seek one on one therapy for yourself. Working through childhood trauma is important and takes time. I'd suggest to start your therapeutic journey soon.
