Avoid spicy and oily foods. Do regular warm saline gargles. Avoid eating from unhygienic places. Try to carry drinking water from home when traveling or going to office.

Avoid sour, spicy and fermented food. Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables(as salads). Drink plenty of hot water, kaada(kashaaya) and soups.
