How to confirm diabetes
Hi, my hubby's sugar levels are fluctuating a lot. Fasting levels are usually low, around 70-80. However after food, his blood sugar levels increase depending on the food he takes. Sometimes it goes upto 217. His hba1c result was 6.5. Is he diabetic or is it just the food ? Is there any other ways to confirm? Please suggest. Thanks.

He is definitely diabetic.. Hba1c equal to or more than 6.5% is diabetic. He needs to be on good Diabetic diet and regular exercise. It's that when he consumes  high glycemic index food sugar peaks.. So he need to reduce intake of that.. Consult online for further guidance
