Counselling sessions typically last anything between 45 minutes to an hour.  Some counsellors are particular about the duration, while some are flexible . However ,since counseling intervention is goal driven ,the duration and the number of sessions will be fixed accordingly. Please discuss this concern with your counsellor before you start your sessions . Take care .Best wishes .

I would say about 45 minutes to an hour though the exact amount of time might vary based on the doctors' preferences too. Rest assured that you will have enough time to discuss what needs to be addressed. Take care and take the first step forward. It's going to work out fine.
